  • Brunswick Academy held its combined Baccalaureate Service and Commencement Exercise on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium. The featured guest speaker was Mr. Brad Antill of Lawrenceville Baptist Church. This year, twenty-eight seniors graduated. Leading the Class of 2025 was Valedictorian Natalie Claire Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Luther Allen III of Carson. Natalie plans to attend Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where she plans to study Biological Sciences. Serving as Salutatorian was Abbie Grace Lucy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Thomas Lucy of Ebony. Abbie will attend James Madison University and plans to study Business. In addition to the top academic honors, five other students graduated with honors. These students were Lexi Vaughan Howerton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kyle Howerton of McKenney and Mrs. Julie Webb of McKenney; Emma Caroline Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gregory Jones, Sr., of Gasburg; Ryan Marie Dickens, daughter of Joseph Alston Dickens, Jr. and Christine E. Dickens of Emporia; Caitlyn Anne Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Moore of Stony Creek; and Alaina Jane Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Roberts of Lawrenceville. Fourteen members of the graduating class are children or grandchildren of Brunswick Academy alumni, proudly continuing the school’s legacy of academic achievement and community tradition.
  • Varsity football mandatory practice will start on Monday, July 28th. We will offer conditioning throughout the summer if we have enough interest. Information on conditioning will be sent out at a later date. JJV football will have mandatory practice starting Monday, August 18th.
  • Volleyball tryouts will be held on Monday, July 28th and Tuesday, July 29th -- Middle School (5th-8th) from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM; JV (6th-10th) from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM; and Varsity (8th-12th) from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
  • Students must have a physical on file in order to try out for football, volleyball and cross country. Physical forms can be found here on our Brunswick Academy website under Quick Links > Resources/Forms > Athletic Forms.
  • Brunswick Academy held its 2025 Junior-Senior Prom on Saturday, April 26th. After months of planning & three long days of decorating, the Junior class successfully transformed the school GYM and brought Prom 2025-- "Once Upon A Time" to life. Jake McAden of Brodnax and Stuart Skea of Littleton were crowned Prom King and Queen.
  • Brunswick Academy, a Pre-School through 12th-grade independent school, is currently seeking substitute teachers for all grade levels. Substitute teachers fill an essential gap in providing continuity of learning when the teacher has to be away from the classroom. We are also currently seeking full-time/substitute bus drivers. Bus driver applicants must have a CDL driver's license & an S, P Endorsement & Air Brakes.
