Fall Girls Soccer Tryout Dates 2021/2022 Season
Tryouts for the Christ the King Girls soccer team will be on Monday and Tuesday August 23rd and 24th from 9:00AM - 10:30 AM. Tryouts will take place at the grass field with the following address:
Juniper Blvd North and 77th Street in Middle Village, NY 11379.

CK Girls Varsity Soccer Team Plays For A Shot At NYC Title
The girls varsity soccer team will be playing to try and capture the New York City title on Sunday 11/15/2020 at Aviator Field #1 at 7:00 PM. CK has played an amazing season and will be hoping to capture the title playing against their rivals Xavarian high school.

The Lady Royals Win Big On Senior Day
On a frigid Saturday on the last day of October The Lady Royals girls varisty soccer team beat Kennedy Catholic 3-1 at Brennan Field. The team celebrated their victory on Halloween and dedicated this senior day to their seven seniors
Stacy Avendano, Bianca Jean Baptiste, Stefanie Coreas, Maya Marchan, Diana Rosendo, Jessica Ruebenacker, and Sara Villacres.
Kennedy Catholic opened up the score in minute 6 of the game with a shot from 30 yards. Senior captain Maya Marchan tied the game three minutes later assisted by Junior Ashley Pintado. Joanna Perez scored the go ahead goal in minute 27 assisted by centerback junior Jaiden Vera. Perez capped off the scoring for the day assisted by junior Gabriella Capranzano.

Fall Season Start Pushed to September 21st
The New York State CHSAA (NYSCHSAA) met on July 20, 2020 and decided to postpone the start of Fall Sports to at least September 21, 2020 due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and our concerns for the safety of Catholic High School student athletes. Should conditions cause the Fall season to be further postponed or canceled, the NYSCHSAA is prepared to hold three condensed athletic seasons for the 2020-2021 school year when conditions permit. The Christ the King Lady Royals Girls Soccer Team tryouts will officially take place on August 19th and 20th at Brennan Field in Middle Village starting at 8:45 AM. The turf field is located at Lutheran Avenue in Middle Village.

Christ the King Takes Home ‘AA’ Title
In the final game of the day, Christ the King H.S., Middle Village, took down St. Francis Prep, Fresh Meadows, 52-34 in the Division ‘AA’ diocesan championship.
Playing without standout senior guard Kaelynn Satterfield – who averaged 17.3 pts. and 6.5 rebounds per game this season, the Lady Royals got off to a slow start offensively and trailed the L’il Terriers by three after the first quarter.
With the score tied 16-16 at halftime, Christ the King regrouped in the locker room and came out strong in the second half.
