New 5-Day Boarding!

St. Andrew’s-Sewanee school introduces a 5-day boarding option for students within a 90 mile radius of Sewanee, TN with transportation options available on Fridays and Sundays. Our 5-day boarding option is designed for families who may be less familiar with a boarding school experience.

A 5-day boarding student escapes the hustle and bustle around transportation issues during the week, gaining those lost hours back. With more time during the week, a 5-day boarder leads a balanced school life, enjoying the peace and quiet of our pastoral 550 acre campus. SAS provides the opportunity for students to pursue excellence in the classroom, in athletics, in the arts studio, on the stage, in music, and in our top-notch outdoor program including competitive mountain biking and rock climbing. Being only 90 miles away offers families easy access to enjoy and be a part of their student’s SAS experience.

To schedule a visit or receive more information, contact the St. Andrew’s-Sewanee Admission Office at admission@sasweb.org or 931-463-2116.

We just can’t be more excited to launch this new option for families living in cramped cities overwhelmed and exhausted with daily traffic or rural families who invest hours in transportation during the week. The value in gaining those lost hours back remains so crucial to a student’s leading a balanced life absent of these pressures.

students thinking
SAS does so many things well it's difficult to clearly define them, but the best tool provided is critical thinking, something missing in our society. That reasoning ability alone is worth the cost of tuition. The memories of friends, teachers, spirituality and nature? All that's just icing on the cake.

SAS Offers Tremendous Value for Its Tuition

We are dedicated to keeping our fees lower than those of similar schools in the region because our primary goal is to ensure that excellent education is accessible to families of all income levels who value it for their children. If you prioritize an exceptional college preparatory education in a secure and supportive environment, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We are committed to finding solutions that fit your family's specific needs.

St. Andrew's-Sewanee School seeks a geographically, racially, religiously, intellectually and socio-economically diverse student body. To this end, we offer several options to help families with the cost of tuition including payment plans, financial aid and merit aid. Application for financial aid has no bearing on admission to St. Andrew's-Sewanee School. For more information on how you can make the dream of SAS a reality, go to Affording SAS or contact our Admission Office today.

*International Families: SAS has partnered with Flywire to streamline the international payment process. Flywire allows parents to pay securely from any country and any bank, typically in your home currency.
