If your daughter is looking at several top boarding schools, given that situation, she might have some difficulties to get in. I also think that focusing on SSAT while giving up TOEFL would give some advantages. I recommend you to do more active research on possible schools and requirements of those schools.
Here is my suggestion. Children have good and bad days, depending on their mood. Sometimes they will do better at a test and sometimes not as good. I suggestion is that if you can, take as many tests as possible. You can choose the test with the best result to send to the schools. So register for all of them, even if your child doesn't have time to study and prepare. Plus, the more your child takes these tests, the more adept he/she will be, and the scores may be better.
One more thing, there are many good boarding schools in the States that will take a students with TOEFL scores in the 80s range. However, they will also need to look at SSAT scores, grades, comments, extracurricular activities and the essays.
