At least one of these tests is required for all our future students whose first language is not English. It is preferable if applicants can take the SAT or SSAT and the TOEFL test. Emma Willard School’s TOEFL code is 8629. The minimum score for grade 9 is 61, although most accepted students will have a score in excess of 75. The minimum score for grade 10 or grade 11 is 79, with most accepted students having a TOEFL in excess of 90. We are no longer accepting TOEFL Junior to meet testing requirements. -
