原文：Thank you for your interest in Walnut Hill School for the Arts! My name is Nadine and I am the Associate Director of Admission and Financial Aid who works with our music applicants. Since you have expressed interest in our music program, I wanted to follow up and provide you with some more information about the school, and to also offer my assistance if you have any questions.

Founded in 1893, Walnut Hill offers young artists a challenging academic education and intensive arts training. The internationally acclaimed music program at Walnut Hill School for the Arts draws talented students from around the world. The School’s affiliation with New England Conservatory makes it the only program in the United States linking a major conservatory with an independent school.

Music students concentrate in an orchestral instrument, piano, voice, guitar, or composition, and can pursue their interests in classical music, jazz or both. Our students take intense, intellectually-rigorous academic classes between 8am and 2pm, and participate in arts courses — music theory, master class, chamber music, opera workshop, voice coachings, chorus, lessons, practice sessions, seminars, and music history—between 2pm and 6 pm.
