一起英語(yǔ) 劉震 中級(jí)顧問就像其他幾位專家說的，基本都需要SSAT和TOEFL Junior考試的成績(jī)。前者需要孩子有非常高的、適配ssat考試的專門詞匯、文學(xué)閱讀分析能力和數(shù)學(xué)能力，以及寫作（雖然不計(jì)入總成績(jī)）；而托福則是考察對(duì)語(yǔ)言本身的運(yùn)用能力，從讀、聽、寫三個(gè)方面進(jìn)行考察，詞匯要求比ssat詞匯門檻要低一些。SSAT基本上都需要進(jìn)行專門學(xué)習(xí)，如果孩子SLEP成績(jī)不錯(cuò)，可以先考一次托福Junior試試看 -

申請(qǐng)六年級(jí)嗎？先得有托福成績(jī)和ssat或者isee成績(jī)。今年申請(qǐng)好學(xué)校已經(jīng)相對(duì)晚了一些。明年申請(qǐng)機(jī)會(huì)更好。

明年6申7的話，好的寄宿初中需要小托福和SSAT中級(jí)考試。

可以考慮美國(guó)junior boarding school，是非常棒的學(xué)校，我今天剛剛走訪了bement school這所頂級(jí)寄宿初中，就在頂級(jí)牛校Deerfield 的學(xué)校邊上，我開車就3分鐘不到的車程，這些頂級(jí)寄宿初中沒有高中部，所以申請(qǐng)上美國(guó)TOP50的高中非常的多，您的孩子目前欠缺的是時(shí)間軸，需要好好規(guī)劃一下，slep難度太低了，美國(guó)的好學(xué)?；静徽J(rèn)可了，需要好好準(zhǔn)備托福junior和SSAT，是非常重要的，另外就是匹配孩子的特長(zhǎng)和愛好了，希望有機(jī)會(huì)可以幫到孩子，加油

What was your score for the Slep Test? Some boarding schools require applicants who have 58+ SLEP score to provide TOEFL or SSAT scores, or to interview to determine whether the students' English proficiency and SLEP results are consistent. We will need more information to provide you with the best recommendation.
US schools stress BOTH academics as well as extracurricular activities. They want students who are well rounded and have the followings:
High level of English
-Good grades
-Good test scores
-Outstanding extracurricular activities
-Good interview
-Good essays
They would also like to see students who have initiative, have leadership skills, are able to make friends easily, is strong academically, and speaks and write English well.
To prepare for the interviews, read more English books and watch a lot of US TV, talk to a lot of students who are native English speakers, go to summer school, etc.
