You need to have a TOEFL score 100+ if you want to get into the top 50 schools. It can be lower if you have other things going for you, i.e., teacher recommendations, extracurricular activities, etc. US schools stress BOTH academics as well as extracurricular activities, they expect to see the followings:
? High level of English
? Good grades
? Good test scores
? Outstanding extracurricular activities
? Good interview
? Good essays
You will have to be well prepared in these aspects. -
家長您好！如果孩子有精力和提升空間，再把托福往高刷一刷是可行的，310之后還有很多補(bǔ)錄的機(jī)會，分?jǐn)?shù)能夠有所提升，在補(bǔ)錄期間肯定是更有競爭力的。除此之外，建議再好好分析一下孩子其他方面，在之前申請過程中有沒有需要提升的地方，還有選校是否科學(xué)合理，和孩子匹配。

這個時候考托福再申請已經(jīng)很晚了。可以先來美國看看學(xué)校，運(yùn)氣好的話，或許可以錄取，不行的話，明年再申請。
