為什么要轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)？如果現(xiàn)在的走讀學(xué)校教學(xué)不錯，建議繼續(xù)。因為明年的申請時間很緊了，沒有成績很難轉(zhuǎn)入好的寄宿學(xué)校。
另外，只有留學(xué)生寄宿的學(xué)校實際上還是傳統(tǒng)的走讀學(xué)校，只是為了解決很多留學(xué)生擔心的寄宿家庭問題學(xué)校進行了統(tǒng)一的住宿安排，基本都是留學(xué)生，而且絕大多數(shù)是中國孩子，不像傳統(tǒng)的寄宿學(xué)校一樣很有管理經(jīng)驗和各類生活活動安排，只有一兩個管管生活的工作人員，不見得比寄宿家庭更好。有朋友孩子就是因為這個原因，一年后要求轉(zhuǎn)入寄宿家庭的。 -
誠誠爸爸說得非常好， 轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)跟您在中國申請美國高中是一樣的， 基本上全部程序還要走一遍， 而且要提供這邊的學(xué)校成績單推薦信。只有國際學(xué)生住宿的可能是校外公寓， 是走讀學(xué)校加上校外公寓。 轉(zhuǎn)不到比現(xiàn)在學(xué)校好很多的學(xué)校，其實挺折騰的， 勞民傷財。

Good question. Where is you son attending school now? And why do you or him not like the current school to the point of wanting to transfer? I do believe that boarding schools offer much more learning experiences to Chinese students who often have language challenges. The dormitory and immersed school environment accelerates the learning curve and allows your child to develop friendship which is difficult if your child remains a day student. If your child plans to apply for a transfer, he or she needs to research into the type of schools most suitable and discuss with the admissions offices. Time is limited until middle of next January for applying to next fall so you need to act quickly.
