美國這邊的寄宿高中，看的不光是成績，要的是Well-Balanced 學(xué)生。尤其是這些牛校，每年申請(qǐng)者眾多，成績好只是個(gè)基本。
我見過太多托福100以上,SSAT90%左右的。 申請(qǐng)這幾個(gè)學(xué)校，被拒的。
何況這幾個(gè)學(xué)校，每個(gè)學(xué)校都是有些差異的，對(duì)申請(qǐng)者的個(gè)人素質(zhì)看著的也有細(xì)小的差別。當(dāng)成績能入得了門檻，成績就無法代表一切了！ -
你好，最近有很多學(xué)生家長來問選擇學(xué)校的事，我認(rèn)為不是時(shí)候，現(xiàn)在是涮分季節(jié)，選擇學(xué)校最好在11月，留學(xué)顧問可能會(huì)要你快點(diǎn)選擇學(xué)校是為了快點(diǎn)和你簽合同。中國學(xué)生對(duì)TOEFL，SSAT考試來說都是新手，越靠后越容易得高分，14歲的孩子是吸收知識(shí)最快的年齡，再給他3個(gè)月一定比現(xiàn)在分?jǐn)?shù)高。T＝105，S＝2250 可以說是非常優(yōu)秀，但是每年的情況不一樣，你現(xiàn)在分?jǐn)?shù)在2011年就很容易進(jìn)，2012年就難一點(diǎn)，2013年就更困難了，2014年你想是什么狀態(tài)？再說你的SSAT成績是從那里來的？今年還沒有開始考，可能是?？及?。你不要著急，11月為止讓孩子多參加考試，爭取T＝110，S＝2300 以上就更有競爭力了?，F(xiàn)在還是專心考試，11月再選擇學(xué)校。希望能幫助你。不明白可以qq我。

These schools do not only look at your SSAT and TOEFL scores. The other important factors are grades, interviews, teacher recommendations, English standard, essays and extracurricular activities. Many students who apply there have the same SSAT and TOEFL scores. In fact, I just had a conversation today with one of the admissions people at Milton and what is important is how the student is overall, not just test scores.

Yes the scores are fine, can be a little higher. Although many of the schools look at the percentile rather than the raw score.
But only the scores will not get you into a good boarding school. They also need to look at grades, teacher recommendations, extracurricular activities, essays and interview.
